Elizabeth M. McGlumphy, 84, of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, at her home.

Mrs. McGlumphy was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Sevistock) Wanchick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. McGlumphy.

Elizabeth was Byzantine by faith.

She loved gardening and time with her family.

She is survived by a son, William J. McGlumphy and wife Melissa of Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Adam Dotts and wife Brittany and Tyler Dotts; and one great-grandchild, Coy Dotts.

In addition to her husband, William, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Wanchick.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the funeral home.

Private interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Cemetery.
