Eleanor M. Rayle, 91

Eleanor M. Rayle, 91, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 at Jefferson Manor, Brookville.

She was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Corning, N.Y., a daughter of the late Arlan and Margaret (Perry) Cole.

Aug. 14, 1937, she married Encil “Gene” Rayle, who preceded her in death April 26, 1998.

She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Punxsutawney.

Mrs. Rayle was a member of the Punxsutawney Country Club and the B.P.O. Elks No. 301 of Punxsutawney.

Surviving relatives include a son, Dale Rayle; a daughter, Linda Theakston; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters.

Friends will be received from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Robert R. Rigg officiating.

Interment will be in Circle Hill Cemetery.
