Eleanor “June” (Baun) Ryen, 81

Eleanor “June” (Baun) Ryen, 81, Rochester Mills, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 10, 1930, in Juneau, a daughter of the late Earl and Edna (White) Baun.

She married Jim Ryen, who preceded her in death April 26, 1997. They raised four children together.

She was a member of the Rochester Mills United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Ryen possessed a great deal of love for her children, grandchildren and her dog, Summer.

An avid bingo player, she was a loyal watcher of the television programs “Days of Our Lives" since the show first aired, and the game show "The Price Is Right."

Surviving relatives include four children, Kim Leasure and fiancé Robert Stitt and Kathy Ryen and fiancé Mark Eckenrod, all of Marion Center, Kellie Neal and husband Dirk of Trade City and James “Jamie” Ryen and wife Karen (Simpson) of Marion Center; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Leasure and wife Melanie, Adam Leasure, Shawn Leasure, Courtney Caylor and husband Colin, Corey Neal, Laken Ryen and Ty Ryen; and two sisters, Evelyn Bartoni of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Patricia Hauck and husband Carl of Marion Center.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dennis “Duck” Leasure; and a brother-in–law, Richard Bartoni.

Mrs. Ryen's viewing and funeral will occur at the same time as that of her brother-in-law, Arthur N. “Shun” Pardee.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd., Hillsdale.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, with Pastor Jim Bowser officiating.

Mrs. Ryen's committal service will take place at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Rochester Mills.
