Easter party for kids to be held Thursday

You won't need your Easter bonnet, but all kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to an Easter party at the New Anchor Inn, located at 466 Harmony Rd. in Young Township, in the downstairs banquet room, sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) and B.K. Smith Auto Body in Punxsutawney.

Drinda Smith, event organizer, said there will be a Bible story, which will center on Judas, and there will also be games for the kids.

Smith said that there will be pizza and snacks for everyone, and the party begins right after the kids are dismissed from school at noontime on Thursday.

The CEF Easter Story House will be in the parking lot at Fezell's County Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Good Friday, and all children are welcome to come and visit. Call 938-7349 for more information.
