Earl "Sandy" Cameron, 92

Earl "Sandy" Cameron, 92, Plum Boro, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 8, 2011.

He was the son of the late Merle and Bertha (Seger) Cameron, who preceded him in death, of Rossiter.

He was married to his wife of 66 years, Doreen "Vicky" Cameron, who survives and is formerly of Bristol, England.

Mr. Cameron was a veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was also a member of the Teamsters for more than 60 years.

He was an avid gardener, an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed his extensive travels in his motor home with his wife. He was also a partner of the Golden Goblet in Monroeville.

In addition to his wife, surviving relatives include three daughters, Kay of Hampton, N.Y., Candy McCutcheon and husband Eric, and Marci, all of Plum Boro; a brother, Ken Cameron of Lake Wells, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry "Barney" of Rossiter, and Harvey "Chip" of Berlin; and a son, Glen.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the Union Hill Cemetery, Rossiter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to PA Housing for Homeless Veterans (HUH), 800 N. Front St., Wormleysburg, Pa. 17043-1046.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Gene H. Corl Inc, Funeral Chapel & Cremation Center, Monroeville.
