The Punxsutawney Eagles and Auxiliary hosted Child Safety Day Saturday to benefit the children and parents in the area. Members of Pennsylvania State Police Troop C checked car seats to make sure they were properly installed. Punxsutawney Borough Police offered fingerprinting, and the Punxsutawney Fire Department demonstrated fire prevention and gave tours of the department's apparatus.
