The Punxsutawney Eagles and Auxiliary will be hosting Child Safety Day from noon to 4 p.m. this Saturday.

The event will be held in the Eagles’ parking lot and is open to the public.

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop C will check car seats to make sure they are properly installed.

Punxsutawney Borough Police will offer fingerprinting, and the Punxsutawney Fire Department will demonstrate fire prevention.

Children who attend will have the chance to check out the fire truck, which will be on display.
