Fire crews responded to the DuBois Country Club in the early hours of Monday morning to battle a working structure fire.

The blaze heavily damaged a building that houses a banquet facility, executive offices and a bar and grill.

Firefighters say flames had broken through the roof by the time they arrived, according to an Associated Press report.

The fire was out by dawn, though crews remained on the scene mopping up and assessing the damage.

Monday evening, DuBois-based Pennsylvania State Police said the fire marshal was investigating the cause of the fire.

No further details were available at Spirit press time.
