Dorothy M. Hilliard Armour, 88, Brookville, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Jefferson Manor, Brookville.

She was born May 21, 1924, in Gaskill Township, a daughter of the late Clyde and Frances (Bouch) Strawcutter.

On Jan. 29, 1944, she married Lawrence A. Hilliard, who preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 1984.

She then married the Reverend Marshall Armour on Aug. 23, 1997.

He survives.

She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.

She worked at Sylvania in Brookville for 18 years and then worked at Rola-Jensen for an additional 18 years.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include two sisters, Arlie Stahlman and Vonnie Milliron; and three brothers Melvin, Phillip and Max Strawcutter; a niece, Marie Bennett; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her first husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Arnold and Gerald Strawcutter; four sisters, Clarabell Harkleroad, Emily Lingenfelter, Betty Jean Bracken and Ruth Strawcutter.

Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Lambeth officiating.

Interment will be in Coolspring Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Mrs. Armour’s memory, to the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Punxsutawney, 113 Lincoln Way, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
