Dorothy Fox Stewart, 91

Dorothy Fox Stewart, 91, of Rochester Mills, Pa., died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013 at home.

She was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Red Lion, N.J., the daughter of the late Gilbert E. and Mary (Hinchman) Fox.

She was a seamstress employed by Campus Sportswear in Indiana, Pa., and also worked at Hill's Department Store.

She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Shields of Rochester Mills, Pa.; six grandchildren, Susan Cindric, Bonnie Wetzel, Robert Shields and wife Judy, George Shields, Cody Shields and wife Doc, and Cory Shields and wife Ann; five great-grandchildren, Faith and Holly Wetzel, Stephanie Cindric, Sheridan Shields and Dorian Shields.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ritchey Hetzler and William Stewart; four brothers, Ebert Fox, David Fox, Robert Fox and S. Cooper Fox; two sisters, Margaret Allison and Mary Jordan; and by one great-grandson, Shiloh Behm.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
