Donna Marie Adams, 66

Donna Marie Adams, 66, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Nov. 26, 1943, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Denver and Hilda Marie (Hartle) Knisely.

June 19, 1965, she married Charles T. Adams, who preceded her in death June 7, 2002.

Mrs. Adams was a member of the St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Walston.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include three sons, Keith Adams of Punxsutawney, Scott Adams of Parker and Michael Adams of Walston; a daughter, Jane Martinez of Manteca, Calif.; a brother, Dewayne Knisely of Punxsutawney; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis E. Knisely.

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Walston with the Rev. Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation and the American Kidney Foundation.

Following the Celebration of Life, all are invited for refreshments at Reschini Hall.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
