Donald L. Weaver, 61, of Punxsutawney, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at home.

He was born July 24, 1951, in Rossiter, a son of the late William G. and Thelma (Bair) Weaver.

He was a bartender, a deejay and previously worked in the produce department of County Market.

He was a 51-year member of the Punxsutawney Fraternal Order of Eagles, where he was a longtime faithful member of the Eagles Bowling and Pool leagues.

He is survived by two brothers, Leonard Weaver of Big Run and John Weaver of Bradford, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Vera) Reesman of Dayton, Pa., and Jane Swartz of North Carolina; and by several nieces and nephews, including Thelma Freedline of Punxsutawney.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Burritt of Bradford, Pa.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will follow at Copenhaver Crossroads Cemetery in Armstrong County.
