Donald Charles Scott, 79, of Whitehall, (formerly of Rossiter), died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 13, 1934, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Charles and Hazel (Frampton) Scott.

In 1954, he married the former Mary Lea Rishell. She preceded him in death in 1986.

He later married Jennifer Bubula. She preceded him in death in 2007.

He previously worked as a logger and a heavy equipment mechanic, and he worked PACT Construction in Ringoes, N.J.

His favorite pastime was drinking and being with his friends at the clubs.

He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion.

He is survived by three children, Dennis Lee Scott of Timblin, Donna Scott of Rossiter and Angel (Scott) Antill of Independence, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn Scott of Rossiter and Jack Scott and wife Sandy of Ohio; and two sisters, Kay Young of Echo and Dottie Rishell and husband Jim of New Wilmington, Ohio.

In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Scott; a daughter, Kimberly Scott; and a brother, Jimmy Scott.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Doug Wolfe.
