Director of Emergency Services: Recovery from recent flood could take a year or longer in cases

BROOKVILLE — Representatives of the Jefferson County Emergency Management Office and the 9-1-1 center delivered an update at a meeting of the Jefferson County commissioners on the recent flooding that swept through the area nearly two weeks ago.

"Recovery from this flood alone could take a year or longer in some cases," said Tracy Zents, director of Emergency Services.
