Darlene Joy Beer, 64, Mayport, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the Clarion Hospital.
She was born August 23, 1947, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of Raymond M. and Mary S. (Myers) Beer.
Ms. Beer worked at the Sher-Bren Factory in Hawthorn and also at the Big Run Shoe Factory.
Surviving relatives include a sister, Mary Pauline âPollyâ Beer of Mayport.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Beer, Leroy Beer and an infant brother; and three sisters, Shirley Palmer, Dorothy Firment and an infant sister.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at the Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov, 2, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Karen Shay officiating.
Interment will be at the Salem Cemetery in Frogtown, Clarion County.
