Darien A. Neal, 43, of Rossiter, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at home.

He was born July 2, 1969, in Punxsutawney.

Darien worked for Joe Hanley Construction.

He was a devoted and loving father to his son, Orion.

His enjoyment was playing baseball, and he absolutely loved fishing and hunting.

Darien was a kind and thoughtful man.

He made friends easily with his warm smile and gentle nature, he always spoke well of others, and he had many lifelong friends.

He is survived by his son, Orion Neal; his father, Russell A. Neal and wife Suzie of Punxsutawney; a sister, Jennifer Neal; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him like a brother.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Irene (Fetterman) Neal; and his maternal grandparents, Irvin Delair and Cecile (Shields) Fetterman.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Canoe Ridge Church, officiated by Pastor Earl Flick.

Arrangements are under the direction of Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc.
