CRAWFORDTOWN — A quickly spreading structure fire caused heavy damage to a house located at 44 Crawfordtown Rd. in Crawford-town, Young Township, on Wednesday evening.

Elk Run, Central and Lindsey were called to the blaze at 8:40 p.m., with McCalmont Township Fire Company first on scene and reporting that the structure was fully involved with the orange flames showing bright in the night sky. Firefighters were able to knock the blaze down within a few minutes.
