JIM MCINTYRE

BROOKVILLE — Jefferson County Commissioner Jim McIntyre announced on Monday that he will not be seeking re-election at the end of his current term in December 2015 and will be retiring.

He and his wife, Eileen, plan to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina, to spend quality time with their daughters and family.

McIntyre acknowledged all the voters and his supporters over that past 10-and-a-half years and assures all that he will complete the job he was elected to do.

Commissioner McIntyre noted that he is “proud to serve on a board of commissioners that has led to increased manufacturing jobs, a cost-effective delivery of human services and a strong record of sound fiscal management.”
