Council members continue to question officers’ overtime

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Punxsutawney Borough Council members continued to question overtime pay for Punxsutawney Borough Police officers at Monday's meeting.

Eric Story, Punxsutawney Borough Council Public Safety chair, said during the first pay period in April, the overtime was down, but it was way up in the second.

"I think it can use some more improvement; it's getting better," Story said.

Toby Santik, council member, asked about one part-time officer who received 18 hours of overtime.
