Cleda (Lettie) Hutchins, 86, Brookville, formerly a long-time resident of Elm Street in Indiana, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at McKinley Health Center, Brookville.

She was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Porter, a daughter of George M. and Mary G. (Doverspike) Lettie.

She was married for 52 years to Harold E. Hutchins, who preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1994.

Mrs. Hutchins was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Indiana. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and being with her beloved dogs.

Surviving relatives include a son, Ronald and wife Marjorie (Long) Hutchins of Sigel; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lettie of Porter, and Dolores Lettie of Rio Linda, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Cloy, Jacob, George J. and Dwight Lettie.

All funeral arrangements were held privately and entrusted to the Bence-Mihalcik Funeral Home in Indiana. A guestbook is available at www.bencefuneralhomes.com.

Her family suggests memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 398 Church St., Indiana, Pa. 15701; or to Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Rd., Indiana, Pa. 15701.
