Clarabelle M. (Murray) Davis, 85

Clarabelle M. (Murray) Davis, 85, of Vandergrift, formerly of Punxsutawney, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Kittanning Care Center, in Kittanning, Pa.

She was born June 9, 1928, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late George and Edith (Coy) Murray.

Clarabelle lived in the Vandergrift and Apollo area for the last 25 years.

She was a self-employed beautician in Punxsutawney for several years and was also the owner/operator of L&M Crafts in Pitcarin for several years.

Clarabelle was a member of the Bible Presbyterian Church in Apollo and the Valley Points Family YMCA in Hyde Park.

She enjoyed crafts and painting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Fuller Leksell; second husband Ken McIntyre; third husband Albert R. Davis; sister Peg Fetterman; and brothers Les, George and Robert Murray.

Clarabelle is survived by her sons, David Leksell of Ann Arbor, Mich., Paul (Marsha) Leksell of Phoenix, Ariz., and Daniel (Robin) Leksell of Wilcox, Ariz.; daughter Becky (Mike) Long of Vandergrift; stepdaughter Candy (David) Hepler of Apollo; stepsons Richard (Donna) Davis of New Alexandria, Kirk (Patty Jo) Davis of New Kensington and L. David (Ellen) Davis of Phoenixville; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m, Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, Pa.

Services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Chris Sidwell officiating.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Lakelawn Cemetery, Reynoldsville.
