On Saturday night, the Punxsutawney Rotary Club held its annual announcement ceremony for the winners of the Circle of Trees in Barclay Square following the Home for the Holidays Parade.

Since 2007, local organizations have decked out their Christmas trees, and the Rotary Club — along with the program's sponsors — have aided those organizations with cash prizes for their participation.

"Christmas Around the World" was the 2013 theme, showcasing visual and artistic representations of different Christmas traditions in other countries.

This year's winner was The Punxsutawney Garden Club — represented here by Dr. Gloria and Dale Kerr — and its Mexico-themed tree.

Aside from the announcement of the winners, though, the highlight of the evening came when the 18-foot tree at the center of the bandstand was lit up, completing the display.

Sunday morning, the trees were on full display, as they will be throughout the holiday season.
