Christopher S. Limrick, 40

Christopher S. Limrick, 40, Punxsutawney, died at his residence in Gaskill Township.

He was born Dec. 16, 1969, in Punxsutawney, a son of Robert D. Limrick of Altoona and the late Judith A. (Firment) Limrick, who preceded him in death in 1998.

Mr. Limrick was a 1988 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and earned an associate’s degree in drafting design from Triangle Tech.

He was the former proprietor of The Right Sound in Punxsutawney.

An avid railroad enthusiast, Mr. Limrick also enjoyed model railroading. One of his hobbies had been attending and participating in car shows.

In addition to his father, surviving relatives include his stepmother, Dolores Limrick of Altoona; a brother, Bob Limrick of Marietta, Ohio; a sister, Beth Limrick of Saipan; a brother, Craig Limrick and wife Brooke, and a nephew, Ty Limrick, all of Reynoldsville.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Rairigh Funeral Home Ltd. in Hillsdale.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Ellen Hoffman officiating.

Interment will follow at the Pearce Cemetery, Rossiter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be forwarded to the Big Run Area Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 315, Big Run, Pa. 15715.
