The Punxsutawney Area Hospital will proudly welcome four new health providers to its team with a Chamber of Commerce Mixer, to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, in the front lobby of the hospital.

The event will give the public a chance not only to meet the new providers but also to talk with members of the Senior Administrative Team and Medical Staff.

From 5 to 6 p.m., the Medical Outpatient Clinic will be giving demonstrations on the Teleburn Service.

Teleburn is a service provided by Lehigh Valley Health Network for the Punxsutawney Area Hospital Emergency Room patients who come in with burn injuries.

The service is available 24/7 and uses a digital camera and computer technology to transmit the images of the burn to Lehigh Valley Hospital burn physicians.

Burn specialists will view the images and then discuss the case with the PAH emergency room physician.

The event will also allow the public to learn what services are available.

Refreshments will be provided.
