Members of the Catholic Daughters of America (C.D. of A) gathered Sunday evening at the end of the annual SS.C.D. Lawn Festival to accept a plaque from Frank Hetrick, festival chairman, in appreciation of the organization starting the festival in 1939.

Currently, there are 57 members in the C.D. of A., which is celebrating its 95th anniversary.

When it comes to children riding in cars, safety always comes first.
