Carol "Gagy" L. Dale, 85

Carol "Gagy" L. Dale, 85, of Elgin, SC, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Palmetto Heath Baptist Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 15, 1926, in DuBois, a daughter of the late Harold and Louise (English) Roper.

She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mona Guidash-Beitz (Dennis); four grandchildren, Bryan Guidash (Kim), Lori Young (Dave), Nicole Balogh (Ken) and Krista Sonsini (Tony); seven great-grandchildren, Megan Hodges (Spenser), Brooke, Emma and Matt Guidash and Zachary, Ryan and Nicholas Balogh; one great-great-grandson Cooper Hodges; a great nephew, Ken Roper; and her dog "Prince."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Roper; her sister, Betty Shankosky; and her son-in-law, Larry Guidash.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, in Elgin, SC.

Interment will be at Circle Hill Cemetery in Punxsutawney at a later date to be determined.
