The Punxsutawney Eagle Riders No.1231 motorcycle club will be having its annual "Burrow Thunder" on Saturday at 9 a.m., to benefit the Special Olympics.

The event will be held at the Punxsy Eagles parking lot.

A bike show will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m., with rides being offered at $15 for a rider and $10 for a passenger.

The event will be held in conjunction with the Groundhog Festival, and riders will travel 135 miles, making four stops along the way.

There will be a silent auction, a meal and a dance featuring the band Against the Grain.

The cost of the meal and dance are included in the ride.

The event is an open ride, and everyone is welcome to participate. Those wanting to take their own vehicles may do so.

The event will be held rain or shine, with all proceeds going to the DuBois/Jefferson County Special Olympics.
