Camp Mountain Run recently earned a 100-percent rating for its Cub Scout and Boy Scout program from a nationally accredited team that visited the Scouting facility located on Mountain Run Road in Penfield. The five members of the team evaluated Camp Mountain Run’s campsite, facility, program areas and opportunities for Scouts to have fun, according to Robert Powell, camp director. Camp officials received pennants and an accreditation certificate. Pictured here (front, from right) holding the pennant and certificate are Cub Scouts Robert Powell and Patrick Knepp from Pack 20, sponsored by the Bigler YMCA; (back row) Robert Powell, camp director; and Bobbi Jo Powell, business manager. For more information on scouting, visit the Bucktail Council’s website at www.bucktail.org or call 814-371-5650.
