BROOKVILLE — The Rebecca M. Arthurs Memorial Library in Brookville returned with its annual author luncheon last Wednesday, held at the Pinecrest Country Club.

This year's book was the biography "Dearie: The Remarkable Life of Julia Child," and the author, Bob Spitz, was the speaker for the luncheon.

To read about Spitz's adventures with Ms. Child, pick up Tuesday's edition of The Spirit.

When it comes to children riding in cars, safety always comes first.
