Breaking News: 1 injured in wreck near sheetz

There was one injury reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Route 119 and Route 310 in Punxsutawney.

According to Punxsutawney Borough Police, a 1988 Plymouth driven by Brandi Brady, 31, Punxsutawney, was traveling north on Route 119 and turned into the path of a 2002 Ford pickup truck driven by Crist Troyer Jr., 57, Marion Center, who was traveling south.

Troyer struck Brady's vehicle, spinning it completely around. Brady was taken by Jefferson County EMS to Punxsutawney Area Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Both vehicles were towed by Rebuck's South Side Service. Police were assisted at the scene by the Elk Run Volunteer Fire Company and other members of the Punxsutawney Fire Department.
