BOROUGH POLICE VS. FIRE DEPARTMENT BASKETBALL GAME TO BE HELD SATURDAY

March 28, 2014

The Punxsutawney Fire Department and Punxsutawney Borough Police — two teams who work hand-in-hand to protect area residents — will take to the court for a good cause against each other on Saturday at the Punxsutawney Area Community Center.

The game will tip off at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Children under 5 will be admitted for free.

Proceeds from the game will benefit Betty's Angels — a Relay for Life team.

The original article that ran in the print edition of The Spirit said the game was to be played on Friday. The Spirit regrets this error.
