BOOTING UP FOR FOOD BANKS

Members of the Punxsutawney Fire Department had their boots in hand over the weekend during the 29th-annual fire department boot drive to collect donations for area food banks and individual food baskets.

Pictured is Jim Murdock (right) of the Lindsey Fire Company collecting money during the food drive in front of the Lindsey Fire Hall on Saturday.

The total amount collected will be announced later today.
