Bonnie L. Minick, 66, Ringgold, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born May 2, 1948, a daughter of the late Lennie and Hazel (Reed) Himes.

On Aug. 23, 1980, she married Dale E. Minick, who survives.

She enjoyed making plastic canvases, crocheting, planting flowers, gardening and bowling.

She worked for Brookville Glove for 32 years as a sewer.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include two children, Amanda Swineford and husband Scott of Hamilton, and Jason Minick of Ringgold; two grandchildren, Emily and Michael Rockwell; four sisters, Velma Smouse of Reynoldsville, Lucy Vandervort of Titusville, Lois Richards and husband Don of Erie, and Doris Kunselman of Ringgold; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Powell, Elsie Yeager, Catherine Himes, and Mary Louise Himes; and four brothers, Alton Anthony, Martin Himes, James Himes, and Frank Himes.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2014, at the Ringgold United Methodist Church with Pastor Ken Duffee officiating.

Interment will be in Ringgold Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, in memory of Mrs. Minick, may be made to the Ringgold United Methodist Church or to the Ringgold Area Volunteer Fire Company.
