Blaine B. Wachob, 73

Blaine B. Wachob, 73, of DuBois, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.

He was born Aug. 20, 1939, in Big Run, a son of the late John and Sarah (Bowers) Wachob.

July 10, 1970, he married Deanna S. Gidley Wachob. She preceded him in death on Aug. 4, 2007.

Mr. Wachob attended Big Run School and was a retired truck driver for Cable Trucking of Brookville.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.

He attended the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville.

Mr. Wachob was a member of the John M. Read Lodge F&AM in Reynoldsville.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Deborah Wingert (John Bell) of Clearfield; two sons, Robert Wachob (Debra) and James Wachob (Lorrie), all of Big Run; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Wachob of Punxsutawney.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Popovitch, Helen Kline, Louise McKee and an infant sister.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.

The John M. Read Lodge F&AM will conduct Masonic services at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Orndorff officiating.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Big Run.
