Beverly D. “Bea” Hinderliter, 69

Beverly D. “Bea” Hinderliter, 69, Coolspring, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Dee Glenn and Elizabeth Amy (McCana) Sutter.

Nov. 9, 1963, she married Charles Franklin Hinderliter, who survives.

Mrs. Hinderliter was a 1960 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School and worked for several years at Pramco and Punxsy Sportswear, as well as with her husband at Hinderliter’s Garage for more than 20 years.

She was a member of the Coolspring Presbyterian Church, and she enjoyed going to church and reading.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include two children, Troy Hinderliter of Conneaut Lake, and Amy Isbelle and husband Brian of Moscow, Idaho; two grandchildren, Stephanie Singleton and husband Justin of Brookville and Devin Isbelle of Moscow; a great-grandchild, Addison Singleton; a sister, Barbara McFarland and husband William of Rossiter; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bobette Lechner, Bonnie Miller Bishop and Betty Heckler.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Shumaker Funeral Home Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Darr Briggs and Pastor Andy Shaffer officiating.

Interment will follow at Coolspring Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Hinderliter's memory to the Coolspring Presbyterian Church.
