Betty Mae Manners, 73, Callahan, Fla., died suddenly, Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center.

She was born May 15, 1937, in Covode, a daughter of the late John and Edna (Sutter) Willard.

She was married to Max Lloyd Manners, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Manners was a housewife and a graduate of Punxsutawney High School.

She was Baptist by faith and had resided in Florida for 11 years.

Surviving relatives include four children, Joann Smith and wife Larry of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., William John Manners and wife Kachet of Chambellsville, Ky., Cathy Bailey of Callahen, Fla., and Max L. Manners Jr. of Brush Valley; four sisters, Jean White of Rossiter, Nancy Winebark of Rossiter, Mickey Soladay of DuBois, and Judy Huey of Indiana; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Lakelawn Memorial Cemetery.
