Barnyard Buddies 4-H decorates tree for food pantry; votes due by Dec. 10

Jefferson County’s Barnyard Buddies 4-H launched a community service project in October to raise money for the local food pantries in Jefferson County.

The response from the community has been great, and the club thanks all who have donated thus far.

The club has now expanded its drive to nearby DuBois.

Members were invited to decorate a Christmas tree in the DuBois Mall.

During their October meeting, the members made decorations for the tree.

Voting for the best tree is by donation to the food pantry.

The tree is located near the Gourmet Kitchen, and friends are encouraged to stop by and vote for the tree by placing nonperishable food items in the box for the Barnyard Buddies 4-H Club.

Voting concludes Dec. 10.
