Barbara A. Mennetti, 68

Barbara A. Mennetti, 68, Rossiter, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born July 6, 1943, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Nick and Mary (Miller) Monoskey.

Oct. 3, 1964, she married John Mennetti, who survives. They were married for 47 years.

Mrs. Mennetti was a woman of strong faith and attended the Rossiter United Methodist Church.

She was a very proud homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors and camping. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include two sons, John Mennetti and Jeff Mennetti, both of Rossiter; a daughter, Janet (Mennetti) Engeholm and husband Ron of Punxsutawney; seven grandchildren, Kelly (Mennetti) Phillips and husband Eddie, Jeremy Mennetti, Jade Mennetti, Samantha Engeholm and fiancé Dan Segar, Chelsea Engeholm, Amanda Mennetti and Emily Mennetti; a brother, Nick Ray Monoskey and wife Diane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kayden Phillips.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Brauer officiating.

Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Rossiter.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Mennetti’s memory to VNA Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
