Barbara Helen (Dubensky) Rosman, 75, Sykesville, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

She was born Jan. 26, 1937, in Adrian, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kvashnock) Dubensky.

Aug. 30, 1958, in Sykesville, she married Joseph Myron Rosman, who survives.

Mrs. Rosman was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School and a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in DuBois.

She worked at Cameron in Reynoldsville and was also a seamstress at Ideal Products in Sykesville.

She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and travel. 

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include a brother, David Dubensky and wife Sandra of Punxsutawney; two sisters, Verna Koromaus of DeLancey and Nancy Agnello and husband Richard of Anita; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathern (Kay) Kendra; and two brothers, Alexander (Al) and Edward (Ubby) Dubensky.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home, Sykesville.

A Parastas service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the funeral home with Fr. Mark Meholick officiating. 

Burial will take place in the Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery, Sykesville.
