Barbara Ann “Bobby” (Passmore) Yeager, 80

Barbara Ann “Bobby” (Passmore) Yeager, 80, of Punxsutawney, and formerly of Clearfield, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

The daughter of the late Cecil L. and Cecelia (Ross) Passmore, she was born on Feb. 17, 1932, in Clearfield.

Mrs. Yeager was a graduate of Clearfield High School and enjoyed attending her class reunions.

She married Edison C. Yeager on Oct. 17, 1955.

A homemaker, she had also been employed as a shirt presser and a hospital housekeeper.

In 1984, Barbara retired from the Troy Laundry in Idaho.

In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting, as well as playing bingo.

Surviving relatives include three children, Edison L. Yeager of Punxsutawney, Leona C. Stiver and husband Ken of Punxsutawney and George A. E. Yeager and wife Sue Ann (Shis) of Plumville; grandchildren Jessie (Rushnok) Sexton, George Rushnok, Edison L. Yeager Jr., Timothy Yeager, Larry W. E. Yeager and Josephine M. Yeager and her special friend, Burt Conway of New Market, Va.; a brother, John E. Passmore and wife Ann of Ohio; an aunt, Loise Wennin of Emporium; two sisters-in-law, Bev (English) Passmore of Clearfield and Joann Yeager of Rossiter; a brother-in-law, Danny Yeager of Fla.; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Larry Yeager; two sisters, Joanie Passmore and Marlene Taylor; and her daughter Leona’s husband, Ernest Rushnok.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, Pa.

Interment will take place at the Middleton Cemetery in Middleton, Idaho.
