On Friday evening, the members of the Punxsy Chucks boys’ basketball team took to the hardwood of Tippin Gymnasium at Clarion University for the District IX title game as the favorites over the Clearfield Bison.

Clearfield kept things interesting in the first half, but a strong second-half effort by the Chucks put things away, as they cruised to a 54-35 win to earn the title of District IX Champions. Members of the team and coaching staff are pictured here after the game with their medals and team trophy.
