AVTT Traveling Wall crosses through town

On Wednesday, the American Veterans Traveling Tribute memorial wall made its way through Jefferson County, departing DuBois at approximately 3 p.m. and wending through Sykesville, Big Run and Punxsutawney en route to its final destination — the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Brookville. The wall will be on display there through Sunday. Pictured above are the traveling tribute truck (top photo), some of the several hundred motorcycles that accompanied the wall on the trek (bottom left photo) and a military vehicle with a flag waving in the foreground (bottom right photo).
