Arnold Rudolph Hetrick, 87

Arnold Rudolph Hetrick, 87, of Coolspring, Pa., died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at the McKinley Health Care Center in Brookville.

He was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Coolspring, a son of the late David R. and Florence (Lingenfelter) Hetrick.

He was married to Viola (Johnson) Hetrick, who survives.

He was a well tender for many years for Hanley & Bird of Brookville.

Arnold was a member of the Coolspring United Methodist Church.

He is survived by one son, Calvin Hetrick and wife Patti of Coolspring; three daughters, Rosalind Martz and husband Wayne of Ringgold, Shirley Rabjohn of Baltimore, Md., and Darlene Kocher and husband Dennis of Raymore, Mo.; six brothers, Eugene Hetrick of Brookville, Raymond Hetrick of Coolspring, Walter Hetrick and wife Marvette of New York, Clay Hetrick and wife Marge of Corsica, Clark Hetrick of Ohio, and Fred Hetrick and wife Donna of Erie; and by one sister, Doree Long and husband Jack of Punxsutawney.

He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Zelma Simpson; and by three brothers, David, Wayne and Darl.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013.

The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, with the Rev. Paul Ritchey officiating.

Interment will follow at the Coolspring Cemetery in Coolspring.

The family requests that donations in memory of Mr. Hetrick be made to the American Cancer Society/Jefferson-Clarion Unit, P.O. Box 408, Clarion, PA 16214.
