Ardovino "Ardy" Racchini, 98, Brookville, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at McKinley Health Center, Brookville.

He was born Jan. 17, 1914, in Conifer, a son of the late Joseph and Madelina (Beducci) Racchini.

July 9, 1950, in Clarion, he married Cecilia Jacqueline (Jackie) Moore, who preceded him in death March 11, 2001.

Mr. Racchini was employed as a barber, a clock maker and repairman, and he also worked on lawn mowers and small engines. He also delivered coal and worked as a coal miner.

He was a life member of F.O.E. No. 983 Brookville Eagles and the Knox Township Rod & Gun Club.

Surviving relatives include a brother, Gelio (Skip) Racchini of Brookville; and a sister, Eleanor (Chub) Myers of Coral Springs, Fla.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Primo (Cookie) Racchini; and two sisters, Faye Moyer and Ida Santo.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at the McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Garvey officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Knox Dale.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
