Anthony R. Lorelli, 92

Anthony R. Lorelli, 92, Anita, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Brookville Hospital.

He was born Aug. 16, 1920, in Anita, a son of the late John and Raphael (Renne) Lorelli.

On Sept. 27, 1941, he married Rose (Morell) Lorelli, who preceded him in death.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Anita.

He worked at the Jefferson Garage from 1937 to 1956 and then became the owner of Lorelli Auto Body in Anita, where he did mechanic work and auto body repair and also sold used cars.

He was a member of the Eagles and the McCalmont Township Volunteer Fire Company.

He was an avid hunter, gardener, woodworker, builder and enjoyed working on cars and trucks.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Beverly Monnoyer and husband Dick of Brookville; a son, Dick Lorelli and wife Donna of Anita; a daughter, Barb Williams and friend Rob Hoffman of Punxsutawney; a daughter, Gerri Lorelli and husband Michael Shiock of Anita; a daughter, Mariann Griffiths and husband John of Punxsutawney; nine grandchildren, Richard Horner, Jody Umbaugh, Richard Lorelli, Dawn Meko, Craig Williams, Jason Williams, Kirk Brudnock, Ian Griffiths and Adam Griffiths; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brothers Joe Lorelli and Sam Lorelli; sisters Louise Murjada, Helen Blose and Millie Gouge; and a special friend, Rose.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Shane Brudnock; brothers Eugene Lorelli and Victor Lorelli; and a sister, Rosalie Lorelli.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Anita with Monsignor Joseph Riccardo officiating.

Interment will be in Adrian-Anita Roman Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
