Angela (Restifo) Smith, 85, Punxsutawney, formerly of Smithville, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney.

A daughter of the late Guy and Maggie (Irato) Restifo, she was born July 14, 1925. in Rossiter.

Aug. 1, 1952, she married her husband, Carlton “Babe” Smith, who preceded her in death March 19, 2000.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Keith D. Smith and wife Lori of Fredericksburg, Va., and David A. Smith and wife Mary Margaret of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren, Nicole Long and husband Dustin, Shayna, Madison and Mackenzie Smith; three great-grandchildren, Mason and Jessa Long and Ayden Olson; a sister, Frances Marie Tribisondi and husband John of Punxsutawney; and a brother-in-law, William Covatch of Punxsutawney.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Covatch; and a brother, Jack Restifo.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rairigh Funeral Home Ltd., Hillsdale.
