Alice Leona McHenry, 87

Alice Leona McHenry, 87, Erie, formerly of Clearfield, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Twinbrook Medical Center, Erie.

She was born March 13, 1923, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Margarette (Lang) McQuown.

She was married to Lee A. McHenry, who preceded her in death July 11, 1977.

Mrs. McHenry was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Amaranth and the State College Choral Society. She also worked for Sylvania Corp. in Brookville during World War II.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Clinton McHenry and wife Susan of North East and Cleve McHenry and wife Nancy of Ashland, Ky.; a sister, Gail Caldwell and husband Amos of New Millport; and a grandson, Scott McHenry of North East.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
