Aldona (Kokonaski) Miskavich Reilly, 91

Aldona (Kokonaski) Miskavich Reilly, 91, Punxsutawney, and formerly of DuBois, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Punxsutawney.

She was born Sept. 5, 1919, in DuBois, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Snurputis) Kokonaski.

She was married to Peter Miskavich, who preceded her in death. She then married James Reilly, who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Reilly was a medical care worker in the Reynoldsville area and a member of Army & Navy Club in Punxsy.

She lived in DuBois, then Reynoldsville for 22 years, and then Punxsutawney from 1991 until the time of her death.

Mrs. Reilly was Catholic by faith.

Surviving relatives include two children, Ronald Miskavich of DuBois and Janice Fye and husband Clarence “Bud” of DuBois; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two infant sons, Bernard and Robert Miskavich; a son, David Miskavich; three sisters, Ann Barbarsky, Emily Curino and Natalie Foster; and a brother, John Kokonaski.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home, DuBois.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at St. Joseph Church, DuBois, with Fr. David Foradori officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
