ADK Sorority’s service supporting students across the globe

Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary teacher sorority in Brookville with a membership consisting of active and retired teachers, recently spent several hours at the Emerickville United Methodist Church making school uniforms for children in kindergarten through eighth grade in Ethiopia.

Pictured are Sandy Lasher (left), an active second-grade teacher, and Jamie Reitz, a retired teacher, with the finished product of the sorority’s work for the day.

Alpha Delta Kappa isn’t the only group working on the project, and there are plenty of ways to help. You can make a donation via PayPal at GCOCUniformFund@comcast.net or by check, payable to Gateway Church of Christ Uniform Account.
