Accelerated Readers

December 1, 2010

First-graders from Jeanne DiPietro’s class at SS.C.D. School have reached their Accelerated Reading goals for the first half of the school year. The first-graders were given goals that were realistic to meet by the halfway point of the school year, and the class did it in only 11 weeks. The students were rewarded with a movie and popcorn. Pictured are (front, from left) Hanna McSurdy, Alexia Matts, Ella Newcome, Alyssa Campbell, Elizabeth Stello; (second) Kaitlyn Bair, Angelo Pape, Libby Gianvito, Weston Bacha, Gabe Kergersky; (third) and Logan Smelko. Missing is Hailey LaBryer.
